My weekly group classes for adults give you the opportunity to explore a variety of cooking and baking themes and styles, in addition to learning how cooking can be meditative and mindful. Based on some favorites from the past, and exploring new territories, check here for the future sessions. This is a great way to take a break once a week, just for yourself.  Monthly Gather sessions can also be booked below.


The idea of cooking can be intimidating to younger people because things can, and do, go wrong in the kitchen. You can’t control everything even when you try your best to. It can lead to a sense of having failed at something that feels like it should be easier. This mentality can keep you from trying new things, creating from scratch, or cooking and baking altogether. With all the social pressure to be perfect all the time, wouldn't it be nice to break up with that kind of pressure for good?

Working through this sense of intimidation can be rewarding for young people looking to build confidence and resilience through problem solving. 

In this 12-session cooking and baking class created especially for high school aged students we’ll purposefully tackle the moments when things inevitably don’t go as planned. Maybe your recipe is off, an ingredient is missing, something in the execution gets fumbled. Together, we’ll take a step back and troubleshoot. With guidance, support, and repetition you’ll learn that failure is an opportunity to learn and adapt. You’ll learn to think on your feet, and for yourself. 

 Ending each class with tangible proof that you can survive and working through the unexpected will be fun, engaging, and create a breakthrough mindset that you can take into other areas of your life. 



Gather is a place where you are heard and supported. Through cooking and baking, we’ll convene and explore what is happening in the world around us, and in our own worlds. Whether you’re experienced in culinary arts or completely new to the journey, each month we will meet to celebrate each other in a respectful and fun space.
While food is our jumping off point, this series is so much more - this is about nourishing yourself and one another.  Each monthly series will explore  different themes and take on a unique tone, guided by the collective needs of the group. Gather begins April 2021.
