COOKING & BAKING CLASSES

As someone who has been a Chef Instructor and certified high school culinary arts teacher for 25 years, I have seen the challenges people encounter in the kitchen - lack of time, not knowing what to make, feeling like you prepare the same thing over and over to not having culinary skills. My mission is to help you overcome these obstacles and cultivate confidence, creativity, and calm in the kitchen, and use cooking as the path towards connection, growth, and joy. In class, we focus on knife skills, techniques, seasonality, and using local ingredients.

This isn’t your typical cooking class. You’ll question, learn, and deepen your knowledge, while learning to follow your intuition, in a fun and nurturing environment.

TEEN SUMMER CAMPS

These weeklong camps are an ideal way to inspire, excite, and get your kids cooking. In these 3 hour, hands-on camps students learn about cooking techniques, gardening, choosing produce (they will pick fruits, veggies, and herbs from the garden), setting a table, and table etiquette. After cooking, we will sit together and eat the meal, discussing the day, and getting to know others in the class. Classes are held in lower Westchester. Class size is limited to 8. Weekly camps are 495. per person. As a certified teacher, I know the importance of designing classes to intrinsically build in math, reading, critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity through the life skill of cooking, while having FUN!
