Loren Banco

Culinary Educator

Loren is a passionate culinary instructor with over 28 years of experience in the food
industry. In addition to his experience in the food industry, Loren also has a degree in
culinary arts from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, where he
taught for 13 years.
As a culinary instructor, Loren is committed to providing his students with the
knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the culinary world. He believes that
everyone has the potential to be a great cook, and he is dedicated to helping his
students reach their full potential.
Loren's teaching philosophy is based on the belief that learning should be fun and
engaging. He uses a variety of teaching methods, including lectures,
demonstrations, and hands-on activities, to keep his students engaged and
interested. He also believes that it is important for students to learn about the history
and culture of food, as well as the science of cooking.
Loren's goals for his students are to help them develop a love of cooking, to learn
the skills they need to be successful in the culinary world, and to gain a deeper
understanding of food and its place in our culture.
He has extensive experience in catering, teaching, private cooking parties, and kids
classes. He is a dynamic and engaging instructor who is sure to make learning
about cooking fun and exciting.
